Pure Digital & Lossless Audio Without Conversions or Analog

With the introduction of the new WiSA Stereo Hub HT, Platin Audio is breaking new ground when it comes to pure digital audio experiences. The foundation of the new version is a completely new design – with state-of-the-art technology inside. As the philosophy of the device is settled around a pure digital and lossless approach, there will be no additional conversions, or analog section in the signal path. Everything internally handled with the highest respect of the audio signals – and thus this device represents a new frontier in digital audio playback.

Control all audio devices in a simple and convient way

WiSA Stereo Hub HT is all you need to connect all your devices in a completely wireless music system. It controls your audio devices and connects them wirelessly to your home speakers. It supports wired devices like TV, turntable, CD, Blu-Ray, computer, or any device you prefer to listen to. For wireless streaming it has built-in Tidal Connect, Spotify Connect, Chromecast, Airplay 2 and Bluetooth. On top of that we've added an ethernet port to eliminate the risk of network stability issues, and an upgraded HDMI (ARC/eARC) interface that works across all TV’s with 2-channel PCM audio.

Streamer for 2.0/2.1 wireless music system

On this new WiSA Stereo Hub HT, there is a cable-carried subwoofer output – allowing connection of an existing non-WiSA HT subwoofer to the system and create a 2.1 speaker layout. The output is compensated to match the latency of the WiSA system in accordance with WiSA standards.

Advanced DSP core with multiple functions

The WiSA Stereo Hub HT supports automatic input selection – so any input with signal is played. Should more than one input have signal, it plays the input with the highest priority. The device can even wake up from any active source, regardless the previous playback.

Automatic room EQ system

Supporting the use of iPhones built-in microphones to correct your speakers placement and room acoustic challenges. The system is also available for Andriod users, but only with the use of our Zen Microphone to capture the acoustic data. The entire procedure can be performed in less than a minute - and the results are incredible.

Manual EQ system for DSP freestyle

With this feature filters can be added freely to all channels independently - or they can be combined to share same EQ by drag-and-dropping the channels in the APP. Each channel can fit up to 16 filters and 3 presets can be stored for each channel.

Flexible bass-management system

Allowing the user to freely set the crossovers frequencies between the speakers and the subwoofer with 5Hz steps in dependently. Further, the subwoofer level can be adjusted from the APP - allowing incredible accurate system trim.

Speaker and subwoofer distance calibration

This feature allows for the system to perfectly time-align the speakers in your system - to optimize the system integration via the provided APP.

Channel level trim

Every channel level can be calibrated and trimmed in steps of 0.5dB - to balance out any unevenness of the system.

Rechargeable 2-way RF remote

We have developed a new remote specially for the WiSA Stereo Hub HT. It is a premium metal housing with a completely new design on the inside, and has built-in battery and USB-C charging. The result is a much smoother experience and no need to replace the batteries.

  • 2-way remote, showing system status via LED's in handset. The information available is: volume level, chosen input, power status, mute status, battery status.
  • Operating at 433MHz brand, it is very robust and can meet ranges of up to 50meters.
  • Battery - depending on the use - up to 1 year per changing.
  • USB-C inlet for charging. Can be charged with the supplied USB-C charger or other USB-C charger.

Automatic input selection and power management

The WiSA Stereo Hub HT supports automatic input selection – so any input with signal is played. Should more than one input have signal, it plays the input with the highest priority. The device can even wake up from any active source, regardless the previous playback.

Work with our own Harmony APP

WiSA Stereo Hub HT will connect with any WiSA HT certified speaker on the market - and when combined with our advanced Platin Harmony APP, you unlock a whole new world of features for this device. Once your Stereo Hub HT is connected to your home network, you can configure your 2.0 or 2.1 system freely using the Platin Harmony APP by following below steps from your listening position:

  • Connect your WiSA HT speakers with the WiSA Stereo Hub HT.
  • Configure each speaker’s channel setting by drag-and-drop in the APP.
  • Set your crossover frequencies, speaker levels and distances to calibrate the system to your preference and performance.

The APP also allows you to do streaming playback-control and album art showing. You can adjust volume and change the input of the device. It also allows you free access to the DSP-core of the WiSA Stereo Hub HT.

FAQs

Can you provide a summary of the key upgrades of this new generation of WiSA Stereo Hub HT(PTX3)?
  • New and future proof generation streaming chipset
  • HDMI eARC and ARC support
  • Ethernet port added for network connection
  • Cabled subwoofer output
  • New improved mechanical design
  • Rechargeable smart-remote
  • New generation APP
Can you please elaborate on what the new streaming chipset offers compare to the previous version?

The previous Stereo Hub used a 2nd generation streaming chipset, which means it was designed for the streaming services available at the time of launch - back in 2015. New streaming services has occured since, which means new requirements for the hardware and capabilities of the streaming chips.

This new 3rd generation streaming chipset is designed to support all the streaming services available today - as well as a complete redesign of the chipset core. This means we can support all the current streaming services - and we have even made sure we have enough headroom inside the chip to be able to add new streaming services in the future, if such ones should arise. We are currently using about 25% of the chip capacity with the services we have already included - and we are working with more upcoming streaming service providers, to add their services in the future as well. This is what we mean by future proof. Further, since this is a 3rd generation streaming chipset, all the learnings from the previous 2 generations are accumulated in this version - leading this to be perhaps the most stable and reliable streaming chipset in the industry.
